Health Contract

Health Guarantee and Conditions:

Breeder guarantees that the above described puppy is a purebred  miniature Dachshund with AKC registered parents. Breeder cannot guarantee adult size, confirmation or color. Buyer shall assume responsibility for the health, temperment, and the appearence of the above described dog upon possession. Buyer further agrees to maintain said dog at all times in good health with periodic check-ups, and recommended immunizations at buyer expense. The actions and the upbringing of the puppy are the responsibilities of the buyer. Under no circumstances should the breeder be held responsible for the dog or the dog's behavior. Breeder will have a full health examination done on all dogs shipped out of state. Breeder guarantees puppies for one year against only, life threatening genetic defects and only with a written statement by a qualified veterinarian. The pup will be replaced with another pup of the same sex and value as soon as one becomes available. Puppies will come with all dewormings according to their age but are not guaranteed against parasites including coccidia and ghiardia. Newborn puppies that are on hold will have to be picked up or shipped by eight weeks of age, if buyer does not contact breeder by this time to schedule pick-up,breeder is free to relist puppy at their convenience and keep the deposit unless other arrangements are made by buyer and agreed to by breeder. All hernias will be repaired by new owners. Hernia repairs do not warrant return of money as it is not life threatening and in no way interferes with the quality of the life of the puppy. In a case where it must be surgically repaired, the breeder will give a maximum benefit of $60.00 dollars at her discretion and with proper documentation.
